Balloons Create Tension Between Two Rivals

This is the highest-level of talk between the uneasy neighboring countries of North and South Korea that has occurred in several years. Giant balloons with anti-Kim Jong UN messages were supposedly sent to fly over North Korea from South Korean activists. The response from North Korea was to shoot them down. Almost immediately did both sides end exchanging some fire. The South Korean ministry of Defense claimed the meeting was held for "good will", and the safety of prevention of more conflict. There was also some discussion about cleaning up some of the tensions between the two nations but there was no set date for another meeting in the future.
