"Fault in Our Stars" Couple is Real

Katie and Dalton Prager were both eighteen, when they fell in love with each other. Although they have a variety of similarities that drew them together, there is one in particular that was rather different than the average teenage couple. They both were/still are fighting the same cancer, cystic fibrosis. This newly wed couple, have been experiencing some trouble recently. As Mr. Prager, received a lung transplant in November and was recovering in Pittsburgh, Mrs. Prager could not visit him because of her health condition. She needed to get a lung transplant too, but because of financial issues between insurance and the University of Kentucky (where her doctors are), the procedure was unable to take place. Also, the doctors reported that doing an out-of-the-state transplant was too risky, which Mrs. Prager requested. Finally, with CNN's help, Mrs. Prager will be able to receive a lung transplant with no financial issues at UPMC. This Tuesday, she saw her husband for the first time in 5 months, the surgery is scheduled to take place within the next month, as preparation is still needed.
