Cranberries Lead Singer Plane Disturbance

The Cranberries lead singer, Dolores O'Riordian, allegedly assaulted a cabin flight attendant and head-butted a police officer trying to control her last Monday. The transatlantic flight was heading to Shannon Airport in mid-west Ireland from New York, the disturbance did not cause any flight issues.

The 43-year-old Irish Singer, O'Riordian, had hospitalized a female crew member of Flight El 110, with a foot or leg injury. When a police officer grabbed her, O'Riordian heaved her head and bashed the police officer in the face. The officer, unlike the flight attendant, did not need medical assistance.

O'Riordian had charges pressed against her. She was detained in the local jail, but was released a few hours after the incident.
