Cliff Collapses and Kills 1 Hiker

Fissure on the Bear Valley Trail
In California on the Bear Valley Trail, two hikers were enjoying their walk and the beautiful weather, when the cliff they were scoping gave out. One was left dead, and the other is allegedly reported to be in critical condition, suffering from serious injuries. The hiker had to be airlifted to the Santa Monica Memorial Hospital. The U.S. National Guard reported to have set up warning signs at the beginning of the trails due to the fissure spotted on top of the overlook. When the cliff ridge gave out, the hikers were on the edge of Arch Rock on the Point Reyes National Park Seashore, and fell sixty feet down. The names of the victims are yet to be given out to the public.
