11 Dead From Helicopter Crash

Allegedly, on Tuesday night, a UH-16 Black Hawk helicopter crash landed into the ocean off of the coast of Florida's Panhandle. It was reported missing Wednesday, and due to fog advisory, limited search parties were sent out. A total of eleven men were on the helicopter; seven marines and four soldiers. Their names were not released to the press. The men were on a Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, and crashed during a "routine training mission involving the Marine Special Operations Regiment." Another helicopter involved in the training exercise reported to return safely to base, although they were assigned a different area to train in.

By Wednesday night, sixty search parties were on the waters between the barrier island and the mainland. The fog was still heavy and prevented the use of air crafts. Eventually, the Coast Guard recovered pieces from the helicopter's tail rotor. Reports of an unknown amount of human remains washing up on the shore are being broadcasted. The cause of the crash is still unknown; many believe it is because of the fog. There is still an undergoing investigation to find the cause of the death of these eleven men. Their families have been informed and the military is doing their best to give them the care they need.

An ambulance involved in the search.
